We strongly recommend booking accommodations in advance, as prices tend to rise over time, especially for Friday and Saturday (conference day and the day after). Please note that the Seoul International Fireworks Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 27th in Yeouido, which may increase demand for hotels.

Getting to Sogang University

The conference will be hosted at Gabriel Hall of Sogang University. The university can be reached from the following subway stations:

• Sinchon (Line 2, Green) - Recommended
• Sogang University (Line GJ, Turquoise)
• Daeheung (Line 6, Brown)

Walking distances:

• From Sinchon Station: 10 minutes
• From Daeheung Station: 14 minutes

Transportation notes:

• Line GJ has longer train intervals, so we recommend using Line 2 (approximately 3-minute intervals during rush hours)
• Avoid taxis during rush hours (8-9 AM) due to heavy traffic and difficulty finding available cars
• We recommend using Line 2 or Line 6 subway to reach Sogang University

Dongdaemun History & Culture Park (Lines 2, 4, 5)

• Advantages: Near DDP (iconic architectural park) with relatively affordable prices

• To Incheon Airport: Airport Limousine Bus 6001 or Airport Express from Seoul Station
• To Sogang University: Approximately $15 by taxi

City Hall (Lines 1, 2)

• Advantages: Near the cultural and business hub of northern Seoul

• To Incheon Airport: Airport Limousine Bus 6701 or Airport Express from Seoul Station
• To Sogang University: Approximately $10 by taxi

Myeongdong (Line 4)

• Advantages: Famous tourist destination, ideal for international visitors
• To Sinchon Station: 20 minutes by subway (one transfer required). Some hotels are also close to Euljiro 1-ga, Line 2, which takes 9 minutes by subway to Sinchon.
• To Seoul Station: 2 stations via Line 4 (4 minutes)
• To Incheon Airport: Airport Limousine Bus 6001/6015 or Airport Express from Seoul Station
